How Does SMILEINLINE© Treatment Work?

Clear aligners are virtually invisible, which means they are a great option for people who are concerned about the appearance of traditional metal braces.

Removability

Clear aligners can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, which makes them a convenient option for people with busy lifestyles.

Easy maintenance

Clear aligners are easy to clean and maintain. They can be removed for brushing and flossing, which means that there are no special tools required for cleaning.

Efficient treatment

Clear aligners use advanced technology to move teeth in a precise and efficient manner. Treatment times can be shorter than traditional braces, depending on the severity of the case.

Less frequent appointments

With clear aligners, patients typically have fewer in-office appointments than with traditional braces.

There are six easy steps to SMILEINLINE©

Orthodontic aligners are a type of dental treatment that involves using a series of clear plastic trays or aligners to gradually shift the teeth into the desired position.

Here's how they work

Consultation

The first step in getting orthodontic aligners is to schedule a consultation with an orthodontist. During the consultation, the orthodontist will examine your teeth and take x-rays and impressions of your teeth and gums.
A

Treatment Plan

Using the information gathered during the consultation, the orthodontist will create a custom treatment plan that outlines the specific movements and positions of your teeth. This plan will be used to create a series of aligners that will be worn over time to shift your teeth into the desired position.
B

Wearing the Aligners

Once your aligners are ready, you'll begin wearing them according to the schedule outlined by your orthodontist. The aligners should be worn for 20-22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, brush, and floss.
C

Advancement to New Aligner

After wearing an aligner for a specific amount of time, typically 1-2 weeks, you'll advance to the next aligner in the series. Each new aligner will be slightly different than the previous one and will gradually shift your teeth into the desired position.
D

Monitoring and Adjustment

Throughout the treatment process, you'll have periodic check-ins with your orthodontist to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
E

Completion

Once you've completed the full series of aligners, your teeth should be in their new and improved position. However, it's important to wear a retainer after treatment to maintain the new position of your teeth.
